On Saturday, March 16th, 2024, the KGL Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the KGL Group, joined forces with KEED, a subsidiary focused on e-gaming development, to bring relief to communities affected by the recent Akosombo Dam spillage in the Keta Municipal Area. This collaborative effort ensured essential items reached those in need.
The day unfolded with a spirit of unity as KGL Foundation volunteers and KEED representatives worked side-by-side to distribute essential relief items to flood victims. This was done in partnership with the Keta Municipal Assembly led by the Municipal Chief Executive and his entourage. The carefully curated relief packages addressed the immediate needs of those impacted by the flooding, offering a helping hand during this challenging time.
This initiative wasn't just about the items themselves; it was about demonstrating compassion and a commitment to supporting Ghanaians in need. The partnership between KGL Foundation, a leader in corporate social responsibility, KEED, a company focused on innovation, and the Municipal Assembly showcased the power of collaboration in times of crisis.
The successful distribution brought a sense of relief to the affected communities, a testament to the combined efforts of the KGL Foundation, KEED, and the Keta Municipal Assembly. With this initiative, KGL Foundation further solidified its mission of empowering Ghanaians, not just through innovative solutions but also through direct action during times of hardship.
