Creating a safe place to play, learn and grow is at the core of their efforts. More than 70% of children in Ghana do not have access to a safe space, according to a survey conducted by the non-governmental organization (DUNK) for UNICEF's Global Goodwill Initiative (GGI) in Ghana.
They have refurbished and activated more safe spaces in Accra to attract children and the youth.
We have partnered with DUNK on a project to empower 120 youth between 16 and 25 years and 1200 children between 8 – 15 years through sports, entrepreneurship and life skills to become agents of change in their communities.”
With part of our core values being to impact and empower the youth which aligns with the intervention proposed by DUNK that is why KGL Foundation is partnering with them to assist in every way possible.
