The 2023 KGL Foundation’s Open Call for submission of Expressions of Interest (EOI) is open.

All interested organisations can now submit concept notes using the Foundation's approved template.

The deadline for submission of concept notes is Friday, 3rd November 2023.

Following this, successful concept notes will be moved to the next phase of application where applicants will be provided the opportuinity to submit a full proposal using the Foundation's approved templates and supporting materials.

This will take place between 5th - 30th November 2023.

Concept Notes will be selected based on the assessment of criteria outlined in the call for EOI.

This will include the viability of the project over the proposed period of implementation, its value for money, including the value proposition to the Foundation’s thematic areas and the considerable impact of the project to national and global developmental goals.

In addition, other factors to be considered will include the regional diversity, scale, scope and size of proposal, and different strengths to complement the objectives of the KGL Foundation.

All applicants will be communicated to regarding the status of their application.

Note to applicants: Please note that between (5th – 30th November 2023) while we are processing concept note applications, should there be any clarifications needed, the KGL Foundation will reach out to you via email (sent from [email protected] or the [email protected]).

Please be sure to check your email regularly during this time.

Successful applicants will be communicated to and given 3 weeks to complete and submit proposals for funding.

The KGL Foundation will review all proposals received and select the best for funding for the year 2024/2025.

Organisations selected after this phase will receive the necessary guidance and support in order to plan, design and implement their projects and set up their evaluation and learning system which will feed into the overall KGL monitoring, evaluation and learning system.
