KGL Foundation Celebrates 200 Years of Akuapem Odwira as Title Sponsor.
The KGL Foundation proudly served as the title sponsor of the 2026 Akuapem Odwira Festival, joining the people of Okuapeman to celebrate 200 years of their culture and traditions. Having supported the festival over the past several years, the Foundation welcomed the opportunity to be part of this historic milestone and continue its engagement with the community.
The anniversary brought people together to honour the history of Odwira and celebrate the traditions that have been passed down through generations. For the Foundation, it was an opportunity to share in a moment of joy and reflection with the people of Akuapem while reaffirming its support for the community and its cultural heritage.
The Foundation’s continued involvement in Odwira reflects its commitment to Ghana’s arts and culture. Being part of the 200th anniversary offered another opportunity to engage with the people of Okuapeman, listen to their perspectives, and celebrate the heritage that remains such an important part of community life.
