Following the recent flooding in the Keta Municipal Area caused by the Akosombo Dam spillage, KGL Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the KGL Group, took a proactive step to safeguard the health of affected communities. On Saturday, March 16th, 2024, the Foundation organized a General Health Screening and Blood Donation Drive to address potential health concerns arising from the floods.

The initiative, organized in conjunction with the Keta Municipal Health Directorate, aimed to provide residents with access to basic health screenings while simultaneously replenishing the Keta Municipal Hospital's blood bank reserves.
