TGhanaian women and girls are often treated as second-class citizens in our society, especially slums.
They are forced to marry at a tender age because of religious, cultural and traditional beliefs. Child marriage is a manifestation of violence; violence against female children is a global menace.
The main purpose of Achievers Ghana is to provide a holistic high-quality education, training and other soft skills to vulnerable and underprivileged slum girls for better resource exploitation, management and control.
They are expected to become productive citizens in their various communities and hence become role models for the generation to come.
As part of our core values which are to impact and empower the youth, the KGL Foundation is partnering with Achievers to provide this haven for the girl child in the slum and also help support its general operational cost and specifically help run activities effectively and efficiently.
The partnership will also see more training equipment on the ICT program, supply of learning aids, payments of administrative cost, renovations, etc.
