The GFA has received One Thousand Footballs from the KGL Foundation for distribution across the country for the on-going Juvenile League.
This comes off as part of a sponsorship agreement between the GFA and the Foundation to support and promote grassroots football in the country.
Presenting the balls to the Vice President of the GFA, Mr. Mark Addo, the CEO of the Foundation, Mr. Elliot Dadey reiterated his commitment to improving the quality of life of children through sports and education.
Speaking at presentation event held at the Adjiriganor Astro Turf, he stated that the development of football at the grassroots level was necessary as it serves as the building blocks to the national team, the Black Stars.
The first edition of the KGL Foundation Juvenile Champions league, held last year, through the partnership of the Foundation with the GFA saw raw talents unearthed, setting this year’s championship as a highly anticipated one.
